Chapter Leadership Team



Aimee Mangold

As a Vice President of Human Resources, Ms. Mangold oversees all Human Resource initiatives to include staffing, benefits & compensation, payroll, employee relations and learning & development.
Aimee brings over 20 years of professional human resource leadership experience having worked with The Procaccianti Group and Interstate Hotels where she held various roles as Area Director of Human Resources, Regional Director of Human Resources and Regional Trainer.
Aimee has been a member Human Resources Association of Palm Beach County since 2006 and has held a variety of volunteer positions including Workforce Readiness chairperson, At-Large Director, and President Elect,  Aimee was award 2018 HR Professional of the Year by the Human Resource Association of Palm Beach County.  She currently holds a SHRM-SCP and SPHR designation.
When not working, Aimee enjoys cooking, Zumba,sailing, traveling and spending time with family. 


John Haymore, MBA, PHR, SHRM-CP, LSSYB
Immediate Past-President

John is a knowledgeable, dedicated, and passionate Human Resources and Safety consultant. Mr. Haymore founded HRS Group, a Human Resources and Safety Management firm that helps organizations improve their HR and Safety operations, stay compliant with local and federal regulations, impact company culture, and elevate business performance.

John has supported employees in the US, Canada, Mexico, and Europe. His experience includes strategic planning, talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, compensation, benefits, workforce planning, organizational development, HRIS implementation, and EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) compliance. John has over 13 years of experience supporting clients in the science, technology, engineering, retail, nonprofit, and manufacturing industries. 

As President of the Human Resource Association of Palm Beach County (HRPBC), John is responsible for providing leadership to the local Palm Beach County SHRM chapter. He leads over 500 members and serves as a voting member for the HR Florida State Council and the HRPBC Board of Directors. 

John earned a Bachelor of Science from East Carolina University and an MBA from the DeVos Graduate School of Management at Northwood University. Additionally, he earned his PHR, SHRM-CP, OSHA-30, and Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certifications. Mr. Haymore is currently pursuing his PhD in Human Resource Development with a specialization in Organizational Development and Change from the University of Texas at Tyler. 

Brian Knapp

President Elect

Brian Knapp is an Employee Benefits Consultant at CBIZ Weekes & Callaway, and Employee Benefits, Insurance Consulting and Employee Services firm. Brian works with HR professionals in developing, implementing & managing their employee benefits programs.

Brian graduated from the University of West Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and has been a member of HRPBC since 2012.  Brian joined the Leadership Team as Sponsorship Chair in 2014, and looks forward to taking on this new role.

Wendy Wiley

Wendy Wiley is the Employee Benefits Department Manager at Marsh and McLennan Agency – Tequesta Office as of 2013.   Although only a few years with Marsh and McLennan Agency,  Wendy brings to the organization a rich background of experience as she has been in Employee Benefits for 20 years.  

Wendy started her career back in 1994 as a Personal Lines account manager for Dorsey Insurance.  Through acquisitions Dorsey became Wells Fargo Insurance Services and Wendy looked to expand her insurance experience by moving to the Benefits department in 1996.   She remained at Wells Fargo Insurance Services for 18 years, moving up from an assistant to department manager in 7 years and was the department manager for the last 10 years.  

Wendy holds a Florida 218 Life and Health license as well as a Florida 220 Property and Casualty license.  

She is the primary point of contact and responsible for the delivery of service and account management for employee benefit clients.  She assists with claims resolution, billings issues, wellness initiatives, enrollments, strategic planning, benefit analysis, and implementation of plan initiatives. 

Wendy is a graduate of Michigan State University and has a Batchelor of Science degree.  She is a member in good standing of the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU) as well as the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM). She is currently Treasurer of the local SHRM chapter – Human Resource Association of Palm Beach County.  .


John Muller, MBA, SPHR, SHRM-SCP

Having built and led cross-functional teams and performance initiatives, maximizing productivity, talent and increasing customer satisfaction for the Clerk & Comptroller of Palm Beach County (FL), the United States Department of State and Jon Harvey Associates, Inc.; John Muller now leads all Talent Acquisition efforts and HR programs for Gehring Group and BenTek.


John has a very strong background both in Talent Acquisition and Retention as well as in performing the developmental work needed to improve HR programs and personnel policies.  He has served as an executive recruiter as well as leading recruiting and HR teams for Federal and local government agencies.  In 2009, John was hired into an office established by the President within the U.S. Department of State in Washington, D.C.  This office was charged with hiring professionals in diplomatic services, IT, Education, finance and other key civilian advisory and training roles to work in US operations in Afghanistan and Iraq.  He was highly successful in accomplishing the goals set for this difficult task.  His supervisor was then contacted by the American Embassy in Iraq requesting she send over a strong leader in Human Resources to set up a more robust structure for availing these civilians with a strong HR direction.  John was identified but actually volunteered to move and serve in Iraq for the period of one year introducing important and valued improvements to the office of Human Resources at US Embassy Baghdad.


John earned a Bachelor's in Business Administration majoring in Business Management and Organizational Development from the University of Miami and a MBA from Florida Atlantic University.  He holds his SPHR and SHRM-SCP as well as becoming a certified Predictive Index Analyst. John is also an active member of SHRM and SHRM’s local chapter, HRPBC, chairing its Professional Development Committee.

Dominique Cultrera, SHRM-SCP, GPHR, PHRca, PHR
Board Advisor

Dominique has more than 15 years of human resources experience. Prior to joining Veriato, Dominique worked for Dell, Quest Software, and Scriptlogic. Dominique has a Bachelor of Science with a double major in International Business and Marketing from Florida Atlantic University. In 2010 Dominique was awarded the HR Florida HR Professional of the Year and in 2013 HR Association of Palm Beach County HR Professional of the Year. She holds many certifications, including SHRM-SCP, GPHR, PHR, PHRca.


Katie I. Kato, SPHR, SHRM-SCP
At-Large Director

Katie has over 30 years of human resources experience serving in leadership roles primarily within the hospital & healthcare industry. She is presently the President/Chief Human Resources Strategist for The Human Resources Factor, LLC, where she provides HR consulting services and assists small businesses with various HR and employment-related compliance issues.  Previously, she was the Senior Vice President-Human Resources/Chief Human Resources Officer for Promise/Success Healthcare (with 19 facilities in 9 states) whose corporate office is located in Boca Raton, FL. She’s also previously worked as Director HR for HCA Palms West Hospital, Regional Director of HR for Doctor’s Hospital/Miami Rehab/West Gables/Larkin Hospitals/etc. (previously with HealthSouth), Senior Home Care, Parkway Regional Medical Center, and other HR roles/positions.

Katie is currently an At-Large Director for HRPBC, and since 1987, has served in a number of other SHRM Board roles with the NCFSHRM, GMSHRM, and Suncoast SHRM Chapters including Secretary, VP Membership, Non-Dues Revenue, College Relations, Programs, Awards and Past-President of the Student Chapter of ASPA (predecessor of SHRM) at the University of Florida. Katie also currently serves on the Learning & Education Committee for the national American Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration (ASHHRA). She was also previously the President of the ASTD Chapter (now ATD) in North Central Florida. Katie also received her B.S and M.Ed. from the University of Florida. Katie has her SHRM-SCP, and is lifetime certified as an SPHR by HRCI (and certified since 1989).

Katie is delighted to be serving on the HRPBC Board and honored to work with such great HR professionals!


Tammy Lane
At-Large Director/Programs Chair

Tammy is an Area Vice President for Gallagher Benefit Services a division of Arthur J. Gallagher (AJG) in the West Palm Beach office. Tammy has over 16 years of benefits consulting and risk management related experience.


Tammy’s role at Gallagher Benefit Services involves responsibility for new organic growth by delivering a consultative approach to benefits.  Tammy’s goal is to provide results based outcomes and strategies for long term human capital sustainability.  Tammy’s strength in benefits is her knowledge, energy and creativity to market trends to life and execute strategies with seamless precision.


Tammy’s benefits experience includes Mergers and Acquisitions, Distribution and Manufacturing, Non-Profit and Social Services, Financial Services, Restaurant and Hospitality.


Tammy joined Gallagher Benefit Services from USI Insurance were she held the position of Vice President of the Health and Welfare Division. Her responsibilities included relationship management, implementing benefits strategies for clients and meeting organizational and individual new sales goals. Tammy was designated and awarded the USI Peak Performer Award during her tenure at the company.


Prior to her work at USI, Tammy worked for TD Insurance, a division of TD Bank, NA. USA. Her career at TD Insurance spanned over 14 years with her most recent position of Regional Vice President of the Health and Welfare Practice in the Southeast Region. Tammy held various positions within the firm including the Women In Leadership Chairwoman for the Diversity and Inclusion Council of South Florida. Tammy was nominated numerous times for the TD Bank’s CEO “Wow” awards during her years of service.


Tammy is a member of the National SHRM organization, and Chairwoman of Programs on the Board of the Palm Beach County SHRM Chapter. She is also a member of the Saint Lucie County SHRM Chapter and Martin County SHRM.


Tammy lives with her husband and son in Saint Lucie County.

Sue Craig
At-Large Director

Sue is currently Director of Human Resources at CareerSource Palm Beach County. With over 25 years of human resources experience she has served in various roles in the Human Resources field within the public and private sectors. Sue’s HR experience ranges from IBM, Florida Power & Light, Tyco and most recently where she was Vice President, Director of Human Resources for a local bank. Her expertise ranges in employee relations, compensation, recruiting, benefits administration, and strategic planning. Since 1999, Sue has served on the Board of HRPBC for about nine years in various chairs. She also served as the Entertainment Chair at the HR Florida State Conference in 2002.

In 2012, Sue was honored with the Human Resource Professional of the Year award from HRPBC. She received her B.A. degree in Human Resources Management from Barry University in Miami, FL.  Sue has been a member in good standing of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) since 1999.

When she’s not working, Sue enjoys traveling with her husband and spending time with her daughter and two granddaughters.



Delcenia Jones
ConferenceChair and At Large Director

Delcenia “Del” Jones is a native of Chicago, Illinois and has lived in Florida since January 2012. She brings over 10 years of Human Resources experience with her having worked in various capacities that rely heavily on her HR knowledge, most recently being her role as an HR Generalist for the Walgreen’s Distribution Center in Jupiter, Florida.

Delcenia received her Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts (Sociology) at Chicago State University, a Masters in Human Service Administration from Spertus College, and most recently a Masters in Organizational Management (Human Resources) from Ashford University.

Her passion and focus for helping others has led her to accept a number of volunteer leadership roles with local organizations such as the Human Resources of Palm Beach County (HRPBC), the American Cancer Society, and the nationally recognized, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. When Delcenia is not volunteering, she enjoys bowling, creative writing, and cooking for her family and friends.

Monica Buzek, PHR, SHRM-CP
Conference Co-Chair

Monica has been  practicing in the HR profession for over 20 years working in various industries such as G4S, Rinker/CEMEX, Aurora Diagnostics, Centerra, and  SBA Communications.   Monica’s current role is the Human Resource Manager with Service Finance Company, LLC in Boca Raton, Florida.     Monica has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Kent State University in Ohio. 

Monica has been a member of HRPBC since 2008 and has service as the SHRM Foundation Chair in 2015, Annual HRPBC Conference Co-chair 2017, 2018 and 2019.

Zar Roger
Sponsorship Chair

Zar Roger is a Business Development Officer at PNC Bank within the WorkPlace Banking Division. Zar has 20 years of banking experience and 4 years of business consulting. He is responsible of meeting HR professionals within select industry’s and arranging financial seminars, financial benefit packages and overall onsite banking services to the employees of qualified organizations for the PNC group banking program.

A graduate from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and international Studies, Zar is now in his first year membership within HRPBC and has taken on the sponsorship role in 2019. He has a passion in educating others about finance and is looking forward to meeting and networking with various HR professionals and member colleagues.

Lisa Turner, PHR, SHRM-CP, CEBS
Legislative Affairs Chair

Lisa Turner has been the Chief Human Resources Officer with the Clerk & Comptroller, Palm Beach County for approximately five years and is a member of the Clerk’s Executive Team. Lisa holds a Master’s Degree and a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources and Management (HR emphasis), respectively. Prior to joining the Clerk’s office, Lisa was the Chief Human Resources officer for Springfield Public Schools in Springfield, Missouri and she retired as the Associate General Manager of Human Resources and Communications for City Utilities of Springfield, Missouri where she worked in several human resources positions during her 31 year career with City Utilities and served on the Executive Team for three years prior to retiring in 2012. Lisa has also served as an adjunct professor for Webster University and Missouri State University since 2002. Lisa has volunteered for several organizations over her career and most recently is part of the leadership team for the Human Resources Association in Palm Beach County (HRPBC).


Peter Troup
Professional Development Chair

Peter is a Health and Welfare Consultant with Gallagher in the Boca Raton, FL office, helping companies throughout South Florida. In his role, Peter and the team, use a consultative approach to help employers look at their organizational health in a holistic manner. Through the use of best in class solutions, he assists organizations in building a better workplace, that attracts engages and retains top talent.

Prior to Peter’s position at Gallagher, he spent several years as a Business Development Director where he helped a chemical manufacturer grow through distribution, development of a buying group, and implementing technology to increase customer service levels. He is a Flagler College Alumni and is proud to call Florida his home with his wife, three kids, and their puppy.

Peter is active with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and serves locally on the HRPBC Board as Professional Development Chair. He is also involved with the non-profit Feeding South Florida.


Jessica Zehetmaier
Marketing Chair 

Jessica is currently the Corporate Human Resources Manager with Kolter Hospitality and has been with the company since 2016. Jessica has developed extensive knowledge in talent management, workforce planning, recruiting, training, performance management, employee development and employee engagement. She also has significant experience in managing employee relations, payroll, benefits & compensation, and compliance issues.  She is passionate about human resources management and regularly attends trainings and educational sessions that showcase a wide variety of HR topics and trends.

A native of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, Jessica is a proud graduate of Florida Atlantic University, obtaining her BA in Communications with honors. She is a member of Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and now proudly serves on the leadership team with the Human Resources Association of Palm Beach County.  

Jessica enjoys traveling, shopping and a good Netflix binge but can mostly be found spending time with her husband and 2 year old daughter.




Joseph Petruzelli
Finance Chair 

Joey Petruzzelli is an account manager for the IBM Southeast Employees Credit Union. In this role Joey manages the IBM partnerships with companies that offer a financial benefits package to their employees. He also volunteers his time representing IBM credit union at manycommunity events.

Joey has been in the financial industry for the past 12 years. Prior to entering the financial industry Joey was an owner of a packing & shipping franchise in Boca Raton where his store was rated one of the top 50 grossing stores in the Southern region. As a small business owner he took on the roles of HR, CEO, CFO and the friendly face you saw when walking into his store.

Joey is married with three beautiful children, who keep him very busy. He also has a love forthe outdoors where he enjoys surfing and freshwater fishing with his family.



Karen (Huegel) Badger
Hospitality/Workforce Readiness Chair

Karen has her Bachelor’s in Health Administration and has 20 years of experience in operations and management.  Beginning her career in the elder care industry, Karen realized her passion of working with and helping others.  Streamlining her career into Human Resources has been equally as rewarding.  In her most recent positions as Senior Human Resource Manager and Program Manager, she has an extensive and diverse background in all aspects.


For the past three years, Karen has been involved with the Palm Beach County Special Needs Advisory Coalition; over 200 participants representing more than 80 organizations that have come together to discuss their experiences, concerns, ideas and solutions related to the needs and services for individuals with special needs and/or disabilities.  Her volunteer work also included serving on the Board of Transportation Disadvantaged and as Ad-hoc Advisor to the Board of the South Florida Leadership Network.


Karen has been volunteering with the Workforce Readiness Committee for several years and the work the team accomplished was recognized in winning HR Florida’s 2016 Chapter of Excellence Award! She was appointed Chair in June of 2016.  


Tanya Vaughn-Patterson, PHR, SHRM-CP
Membership  Chair

Tanya Vaughn-Patterson, MM, PHR, SHRM-CP is an HR Practitioner with over 25 years of experience specializing in diversity, inclusive leadership and equal employment opportunity. Tanya is currently a Diversity & Inclusion Consultant with NextEra Energy in Juno Beach, FL. Prior to starting her career in the civilian arena in 1995; Tanya served as an active duty Marine for nine years. She holds a Master’s of Management in Human Resources from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor’s of Science from Northwood University.

Tanya is an active member of HRPBC and served as Programs Chair in 2014 and 2015 and has been serving as Marketing Chair since 2016.

Communications Chair

Kimberly Gibbons is an accomplished Human Resources professional with over 20 years of experience in Human Resources and Training and Development in both the public and private sectors. Kim is responsible for implementing human resource management strategies that enable the Village of Wellington to attract, train, and retain a high performance workforce. Kim specializes in human resource development, performance
management, employee relations, policy development, and training, and recently earned the School to Work 2018 Partner of the Year award from Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Palm Beach and Martin Counties.

Kim is certified through the HR Certification Institute as a Senior Professional in Human Resources; certified through the Society of Human Resource Management as a SHRM Senior Certified Professional; and certified through the International Public Management Association for Human Resources as an International Public Management Senior Certified Professional. Kim holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Maryland, and a Master of Science Degree in Human Resources Development and Administration from Barry University




Joan Greenberg

SHRM Foundation / Community Relations

Joan has been a member of HRPBC since 2005 serving on several committees and, most recently,  connecting new members with Volunteer opportunities with the Chapter.  Joan was also the Ambassador and liaison for HRPBC and the HR Florida Conference.   Previously, Joan was a member of GMSHRM in Miami before her job took her to Palm Beach County in 2005.   Joan has been in the staffing industry for more than 25 years and with Manpower since 2000 as Regional Director.  Joan will be the Chair of SHRM Foundation for 2019.

Apryl Cowher
Chapter Administrator

Apryl Cowher is currently an Office Manager/HR Specialist at Veriato. She has over 4 years experience in human resources and over 20 years’ experience in administrative work from being a Secretary in the US Navy to being an Education/ProServices Coordinator for Dell Corporation. Apryl is working on her PHR Certification, loves football, reading, sewing and spending time with her 3 children and 2 grandchildren.
