Title: Strategic Management and HRM: A Seamless Integration
Speaker:  Dr. Robert Reich, Assistant Professor, Management, Lynn University

Join us on Thursday, June 21, 2018 for the second of our four breakfast events presented in partnership with the business and HR faculty of Lynn University:

If you want to be seen as a business partner, STOP proposing ‘HR solutions.’

To succeed as a champion of strategic HR, you must fully understand your organization’s competitive and corporate strategies. This program will equip you with a solid understanding of the business strategy and planning process and will help you mirror this process in your human resources planning – enabling you to embed HR in every business decision that is made. You’ll benefit from the insights of our speaker’s extensive business and HR management experience.

You will learn:
How business strategy is developed and its key linkages to HR planning and management
The analytic and planning tools to use in aligning HR strategy with the business, including those for forecasting HR needs and availabilities
What is required to implement strategic HR plans and how to measure their impact in business terms 

About our Speaker:  Robert Reich is a seasoned executive with over 35 years of professional experience in commercial consumer product and recreational sporting goods companies. He is an experienced sales and marketing professional and has held senior management position at O'Brien International, Albas Marketing, Raytheon Commercial Infrared and Sea Ray Boats. Reich is a member of the Advisory Board of Lancaster Consulting a marketing and research firm in Friendsville, TN Hager Environmental & Atmospheric Technologies of Oak Ridge, TN and Gekko Sports, Shakopee, MN. Dr. Reich holds a B.A. from Rollins College, an M.S. from The University of Tennessee and received an MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas and DBA from Kennesaw State University.
