Eric Gordon is a Shareholder with the national law firm, Akerman Senterfitt. Eric devotes himself and his practice to the representation of employers in labor and employment matters. His practice includes representing clients in litigation and arbitration and day-to-day preventative counseling and in-house training programs. He is also a frequent lecturer on both the local and national level.

Eric has been an active member of HRPBC since 2004, having served at various times on the Board of Directors.

Brian Altschuler serves in a leadership role at Boca Raton Regional Hospital as Executive Director of Human Resource Operations.  In addition to his core role in Human Resources, he is also responsible for the Center for Lifelong Learning’s focus on organizational advancement in the areas of clinical, performance, and leadership excellence.  Executing against Boca Regional’s Four Cornerstones for Success, the Human Resources Services Division focuses on people, process, and systems that support the hospital’s growth.       

Prior to joining Boca Regional, Brian played an integral role in leadership and staff development at both Palms West Hospital and Bethesda Healthcare System.  Other career highlights include ten years with Marriott International in various operational and support positions.  “Lifelong Learning" being one of Brian's core beliefs, he earned his Masters in Management with a focus on Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.  “Learn, develop, and grow” is his motto. 

Brian holds certifications in/as a Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Practitioner, Situational Leadership, Development Dimensions International (DDI), certified Level III Corporate Trainer through Marriott International, and has achieved the SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) certification.  He is also active on several advisory and initiative healthcare related boards.  Amongst the honors he is most proud of receiving was the 2004 Palm Healthcare Foundation’s “Commitment to Community” award.  This distinguished award is presented to individuals who have been recognized for their leadership and contributions within the healthcare community.  In 2008 he was also named as the Human Resource Association of Palm Beach County’s Human Resources Professional of the Year.  

Laurie B. Myers, PHR background is in a generalist role with more than 13 years of experience. Laurie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Home Economics Education from Florida State University.

She has been an active member of HRPBC for ten years and has held the following positions: Secretary, Hospitality Director, Facilities Chair, and has also been involved in several committees throughout the years.

Paul R. Hederman, MS, SPHR                              
 
A native of Cambridge Massachusetts, over the last 22 years, Paul has built an enviable record of accomplishment in varied and challenging positions in high-tech, product development, manufacturing,electric utility industry, and public sector.   Paul has held a variety of HR leadership positions at such companies as Florida Power & Light, Philips, NV, Bankrate, Inc., Sensormatic Electronics Corp., Tyco International, and Workforce Alliance. 

A results oriented human resource executive Paul has a broad background in all HR functions.  His professional experience includes labor relations, organizational development, international human resource management, ethics, and compliance in organizations ranging in size from start-ups to large, multi-national corporations.

Prior to his extensive career in industry, Paul served 22 years in the United States Air Force.  After leaving military service in 1988, Paul began a career in human resources.  Paul holds a BS degree in Business and Public Management from the State University of New York, Institute of Technology in Utica, NY and an MS in Management Science from Binghamton University School of Management in Binghamton, NY.  He is certified by the Society for Human Resource Management as a Senior Professional in Human Resources, and holds a Six Sigma Green Belt certification.

In addition to his responsibilities as Chief Operating Officer at Workforce Alliance, Inc., Paul has served in several positions on the board of Directors for the Human Resource Association of Palm Beach County including President in 2004.
 

Dominique Cultrera, GPHR/PHR joined ScriptLogic in 2004 and oversees the Human Resources globally for ScriptLogic, bringing more than 10 years of Human Resources experience with her. Previously she worked for Cenetec, a venture capital group, as the Director of Human Resources being responsible for Cenetec’s Human Resources as well as their 12 client companies. She graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Science, with a double major International Business and Marketing and is a certified Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR) and Professional in Human Resources (PHR).

She has held various roles within the Human Resources Association of Palm Beach county including the immediate Past President and previously served as HRPBC’s Treasurer, Communications and Conference Chair.

Jennifer Gunter, M.S.,PHR is a Benefits Analyst with NCCI Holdings, Inc., in Boca Raton, FL.

Jennifer has over 7 years experience within the field of Human Resources and has past experiences within the Hospitality Industry. Prior to starting with NCCI Holdings, Inc., in 2005, Jennifer was a member of the Human Resources Division of the Broward County Clerk of Courts. She holds a Master’s of Science Degree in Human Resources Management from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelors of Public Administration Degree from Florida International University. Jennifer has been a member of the Human Resources Association of Palm Beach County since 2006.

Olga is an HR professional  with 20 years of substantial operational, strategic and administrative experience. Olga is HR Business Partner for Allstate Insurance Company. Over the years Olga has established expertise in HR Department Management, Talent Strategy and Acquisition; Leadership Development; HR Strategy Development; Change Management; Talent Management; Organizational Design and Development; Quality Development; Performance Management; HR Metrics; Employee Relations; Diversity; and HR Policy and Compliance.

Olga is a Past President of HRPBC. She has served on HRPBC board in various roles for the past 5 years. In 2005 Olga was awarded the HRPBC Professional of the Year award.  She is a graduate of Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, FL and is currently pursuing her MBA.

Paula Kvarnberg is President of Search America, LLC, an executive search firm and human resources consulting firm that she founded in 2001. Search America, LLC serves clients in a broad spectrum of industries with emerging growth companies and recruits across many functional lines domestically and internationally. Search America not only strives to find the most ideal candidates for its client companies but to find the most ideal people for their corporate cultures.

Paula is currently the Program Chair for HRPBC and previously was on the membership committee for 2 years.  She is also the Past-President, Secretary, and VP of Programs for SMA of South Florida, a SHRM special interest chapter. She is also currently on the HR Florida Conference Committee. She graduated from the University of Miami Magna Cum Laude in 1985. She is AIRS Certified in Advanced Internet Recruiting Strategies and SHL Certified to perform Job Analysis and Assessment Analysis.  She actively pursues emerging trends in human resources education through seminars, conventions and classes locally and nationally.
 

Marlene Frasca, SPHR, GPHR has more than twenty years of experience in management positions in human resources in the healthcare industry. To add value as a business partner, Marlene achieved certification as a Healthcare Risk Manager and completed the state requirements for an Assisted Living Administrator. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Christopher Newport University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and earned a Master’s degree in Human Resources Development and Administration from Barry University. Ms. Frasca is an Adjunct Instructor at Keiser, South, Barry and Lynn Universities and is a member of the Executive Volunteer Corp of Nonprofits First in Palm Beach County.

Darron is Chief of Human Resources for The School District of Palm Beach County, which he was appointed to in June 2006. Darron previously worked in the private sector for fourteen years with Nabi Biopharmaceuticals in Boca Raton in roles of increasing responsibility in operations management and human resources management. Darron is a graduate of Tulane University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Management with a concentration in Human Resources.

Darron is a long time board member and chairperson with HRPBC since 1999. He is currently the Chairperson of the Workforce Readiness/Education Task Force. Previous roles included Diversity Chair and Professional Development /Certification Chair.

Gary J. Sapir, M.S., SPHR is the President of Integrated Performance Resources, Inc. Gary Sapir has over 25 years of experience as an HR Professional, Performance and Organization Development Consultant, Master Trainer, Executive Coach, Speaker, and Program Developer. In 2000, Gary became the founding President of Integrated Performance Resources, Inc., a firm created to guide individuals and organizations to improved performance through assessment, training, coaching, HR and organizational development strategies. Gary holds a B.S. in Psychology, M.S. in Counseling Psychology and SPHR certification from the HRCI.

Gary has served on the board of the HR Association of Broward County from 2002 to 2005 and was elected President of HRABC in 2006. He served three years on the board of ASTD and was the 2002 President of the Ft. Lauderdale Chapter of ASTD. His professional association experience also includes being a founding member of the Organization Development Network. Gary was a Board Director for the HR Association of Palm Beach County in 2008 and is the current 2009 Treasurer for HRPBC.

Marilyn C. Durant, M.S., SPHR is President and Human Capital Consultant of Durant Resources Group.

Marilyn is an accredited Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by the Human Resource Certification Institute.  With more than twenty-five years of HR experience, Marilyn’s currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Human Resources Association of Palm Beach County, Past President’s Advisory Council for HR Association of Broward County, The Mentor program for South Florida Compensation and Benefits Association and participates in the Financial Executives International Association.

Marilyn was awarded the Florida Business Journal’s Excellence in HR Award. She was District Director for five HR Florida chapters for three years and was awarded District Director of the year. Marilyn is also Past President of the HR Association of Broward County, and was awarded the President of the year in 2001 and was also inducted to the HR HALL of Fame for the HR Association of Broward. Marilyn served on the Board of the Child Care Resources and Referral Services.

Lauren Lapon, is a Partner with Infixx Management Corp, a professional recruiting firm located in Palm Beach County.

She became involved with the Human Resources  Association of Palm Beach County in 2006.  Previously, she was also a member with the Human Resources Association of Broward County. She began volunteering on the HRPBC Hospitality Committee in 2008 and Lauren currently holds the position of 2009 Hospitality Chair for HRPBC. Lauren is very actively involved within the community, with some of her additional volunteer experience including working with the March of Dimes, Junior League of Boca Raton, and Association for Community Counseling.

Bobbi is Director of Human Resources at Radiology Associates of Hollywood, PA.  Despite her demanding role, she has volunteered in many different capacities for SHRM-affiliated organizations.

Bobbi most recently served as HRPBC’s Conference Chair for 2009 and 2010.  She previously served the Human Resource Association of Broward County as Membership Director (2002 and 2003), President Elect (2004), President (2005) and Past President (2006).  She also served on HRABC’s 2006 Bylaws Committee and the 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2009 Nominating Committees.  While President Elect for HRABC, Bobbi represented the Chapter in the 2004 SHRM Showcase of Leadership Excellence.  At the state level, Bobbi served as a council member during her tenure as HRABC’s 2005 Chapter President, Council Strategy Chair (2006), and Treasurer (2007). In addition to her dedication to SHRM-affiliated organizations, she served as the Membership VP in 2006 for ASTD’s Fort Lauderdale Chapter. She was a 2005 and 2006 honoree for SFBJ Excellence in Human Resources and received the SFBJ Career Achievement Award in 2006.   Prior to moving to Florida, Bobbi served in numerous volunteer capacities for various charitable organizations.
 

Maggie is a Senior Human Resources Consultant with Federal Management Partners, Inc. where she supports public sector clients in fulfilling their human capital goals by providing a wide range of consulting services in the areas of HR and strategic human capital management, organizational effectiveness, and training and development. Maggie holds a M.A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA and earned her B.A. in Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis.

Linda is the HR Director for Marine Exhaust Systems in Riviera Beach. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a major in Organizational Development, and a minor in Psychology. A safety Instructor for the Palm Beach Safety Council and a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors.

Throughout her 25 years of experience she has held a variety of roles within the HR field including training, team/personal development. These initiatives have been applied to start-up companies as well as multi-national ones in the healthcare, pharmaceutical and manufacturing industries throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. Her zest for learning and the development of those around her have led her to spearhead a variety of projects which have served as pilot programs for community and professional development.  “Resilience and determination have been key elements in my career. My motto is: To make a difference one must be the difference!”

Alyson currently serves as the HRPBC Chapter Administrator.  She currently works for Coverall Health-Based Cleaning System as Human Resources/Legal Coordinator since 2008. Alyson graduated from the University of Central Florida with a B.S. in Hospitality Management.
