About Us
The Human Resource Association of Palm Beach County (HRPBC) encourages the exchange of ideas, discussion of problems, and the dissemination of information in the field of human resources. We are honored to have over 900 members.
Founded in 1966 as the Personnel Association of Palm Beach County, HRPBC has evolved and developed in size, mission, and name, to become the premier organization for Human Resource Professionals in the Palm Beach County area. HRPBC is an official chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) is the world's largest association devoted to human resource management. HRPBC is proud to be recognized as a 2005 and 2006 Superior Merit Award Chapter in SHRM Southeast Region. Each year our chapter is represented at all HR Florida State Conferences and National SHRM Conferences & Expositions.
Serving as a valuable resource for the business community in matters of sound human resource practice, HRPBC provides opportunities for its members for continuing education and development as Human Resources professionals. Members are encouraged to pursue and maintain Professional Certification in the HR industry.
