Dear HRPBC Members,

I want to personally apologize for the oversight we’ve made.  Our standard practice is to have dinner meetings on the third Thursday of each month.  Our meetings are scheduled at the beginning of each calendar year and we unfortunately scheduled our September meeting on Rosh Hashana.  I realize that Rosh Hashana is a Jewish Holy Day and we would never intentionally make such a mistake.  The past few weeks have been chaotic for all of us.   Our chapter would never intentionally be insensitive to any of our members; their faith, values or beliefs.  I sincerely apologize for this oversight.

Our Board has decided to reschedule our meeting for Tuesday 9/26 at the Embassy suites in West Palm Beach.   We hope that you will join us.   ICE has confirmed they will accommodate our schedule and will be the keynote program.

Registration will remain open through Friday, Sept. 22. Click here to register. If you are already registered and unable to attend please contact our Treasurer, Wendy Wiley at treasurer@hrpbc.org

Again, I apologize for any inconvenience or ill feelings this may have caused.

Regards,

John Haymore, MBA, PHR, SHRM-CP, OSHA-30
HRPBC President, 2017-2018

  • The IMAGE Program assists employers in targeted sectors develop a more secure and stable workforce. It also enhances fraudulent document awareness through education and training.

Topic:  Change is Good...You Go First. 21 Ways to Inspire Change.

Program highlights:

How does your team react to change? Do they dig in with their heels to resist it or do they welcome it with open arms?

As leaders, we know that change is a fact of life and we need to learn to manage it before it manages us. A tall order? Not when you have the wisdom of two business icons, Mac Anderson and Tom Feltenstein, to show the way. This easy-to-use book will help you and your team stop conducting business as usual.

Change is the key that unlocks the doors to growth and excitement in any organization. More importantly, without it...your competition will pass you by.

You don't have a choice about change, but you do have a choice about how you and your team react to it.

Don't wait another minute to inspire, motivate, and encourage your team to move forward and embrace change.

Lead the way. You go first.
